Shortening of a buttress wall with a quoined cheek end.

The client wanted this wall shortening. The wall would be finished with a quoined cheek end giving a buttress style finish.

Once we had taken the wall back to the desired length we began to build the wall head using lime mortar to match the rest of the client's walls.

Luckily there was enough recycled quoin to build this section from the wall we had just taken down.

We then pointed the mortared joints and finished the wall with a coping to match.
